North Marin United Under 8 Academy

A competitive “developmental” soccer program operated in association with the Novato Youth Soccer Association, and the Dixie Youth Soccer Association

 

The North Marin United Under 8 Academy is a program that offers players under the age of 8, the opportunity to participate at a competitive soccer level.  The program includes technical training sessions twice a week with coaches from our professional staff. These coaches work closely with players interested in improving their individual skills including ball control, passing, and technique. Players are also taught to work as a team, including the basic fundamentals of the game of soccer. With respect to seasons of play, the spring offers a developmental league with smaller sided games to assist in the development of the player. The fall season offers a more competitive game structure. Teams may also elect to participate in age and level appropriate tournaments throughout the course of the season. Tryout dates are available on the website, however typically are held around the 20th of February through the 1st of March. 

 

North Marin United Competitive Soccer Program; Ages Under 9 – Under 18

A competitive soccer program operated in association with the Novato Youth Soccer Association, and the Dixie Youth Soccer Association

 

The North Marin United competitive soccer program, is a competitive soccer program for players ages 7 1/2- 18, interested in participating in soccer at a higher level, with professional coaches, typically playing soccer for the better portion of the year. Teams will typically train at least twice per week, working on the players individual skills including ball control, passing, and technique. Players are also taught to work as a team, including the fundamentals of the game of soccer. Team trainings are based on the appropriate level of exercises etc., based on the team’s level of play and the age of the players. 

 

Teams participating in the North Marin United competitive soccer program may participate in the Spring League. Teams will participate in Tournaments throughout the season, Fall League, and the Norcal State Cup. Tryout dates are available on the website, however typically are held around the 20th of February through the 1st of March.

 

North Marin United Player Development & Goal Keeping Sessions 

All North Marin United players are invited to participate in the North Marin United Player Development Sessions at no additional fee.

 

North Marin United Player Development “Technical Sessions”

 

Throughout the course of the North Marin United season, all North Marin United players are invited to attend our North Marin United Player Technical Development Sessions. These sessions are intended to provide our North Marin United players additional training, in a community setting, with other staff coaches while working on individual player technique, skill, and team/club building. Additional information, including scheduling, will be sent in our monthly North Marin United informational eblast. 

 

North Marin United Player Development “Goal Keeping Sessions”

 

Throughout the course of the North Marin United season, all North Marin United players are invited to attend our North Marin United Player Development Goal Keeping Sessions. These sessions are intended to provide our North Marin United players additional training, in a community setting, with other staff coaches while working on individual goal keeping technique, skill, and team/club building. Additional information, including scheduling, will be sent in our monthly North Marin United informational eblast. 

 

 

 

 

North Marin United Skills Camps. fun in the sun!

A fun and interactive, skills building summer camp operated by the Novato Youth Soccer Association

 

Throughout the year, our North Marin United staff conducts several different North Marin United Skills Camps. These camps are conducted by our professional coaches who create a curriculum based on soccer, fun, and learning. Additional information, including scheduling, curriculum, and fees will be sent in our monthly North Marin United information eblast.
